You have made an investment by purchasing a waterslide from Amusement Leisure LTD. Trust the manufacturer to protect and maintain your investment, by taking advantage of our regular maintenance program.
Visitors often equate a fresh new appearance with cleanliness and safety. The “Like New Program” offered by Amusement Leisure, will be completed by our trained slide experts performing the necessary to leave your waterslide in “Like New” condition. As well as offering cosmetic improvement, our efforts will increase the life span of your slide and ensure continuing safety for its riders. With this in mind, this program has been created offering the following services:
Our team will provide an equipment inspection of all waterslide components and support structure. They will do a random bolt check as well as be able to attest to structural stability and safety.
Flume joints experience a great deal of friction and the sealant between the parts along the riding surface will wear away. The gap left behind needs to be filled with new material on a regular basis to prevent leaks and possible rider discomfort.
Breaches such as cracks, in the outer gelcoat shell need to be repaired to prevent absorption of foreign material into the fibreglass. This can cause blistering and de-lamination, (separating) of the glass fibres causing them to weaken and eventually break. Chips and raised edges from cracks in the gelcoat can result in injury. All gelcoat repairs will be adressed, small chip repairs are included in the program cost. Management will be advised of large repairs and will be completed pending approval.
All slide parts will be cleaned. Calcium, heavy dirt and scratches on the riding surface can often only be removed with a power polisher and specialized polishing compounds. Polishing creates a smooth finished surface that helps delay future build up.
A protective marine wax is than applies to seal the pores on the gelcoat that helps repel calcium and dirt build up as well as making the slide faster and more enjoyable for the rider.
Minor paint touch ups will be completed. Repainting of steel can be done if required.
